How to Install Exocad Implant Libraries (FINISH BY 06/23)

How to Install exocad Implant Libraries (Step-by-Step Guide)

Once you have identified the manufacturer of the scanbody, you can download the designated libraries.

Open up Exocad. For this demonstration, we will be using Exocad’s Sample Data

In the Administration (Database) window, click Load.

Open an implant case. For this example, we are using 028 (Custom Abutment).

Click Load again, then click Design.

Allow the software to boot and load the case files.

Click the Expert button in the bottom menu.

Position: Right-click the tooth/implant site or hover over the tooth icon in the wizard, then select Detect Implant Position.

In the selection window, click Download More Libraries. This will launch the Exocad Library Manager.

Search for the libraries you need. In this example, we will be searching for Uris.

Select all desired libraries and click Go to Download List.

Fill out any necessary fields and click Install Libraries.
Note: If prompted to allow the app to make changes to your device, click Yes.

Wait for the installation to complete, then restart Exocad to refresh the database.

Open your case again, and your new scanbody libraries should now be available!
